    About Whiteface Mountain

    Located in New York, Whiteface is home to the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies, 87 trails stretching over 22 miles and encompassing three peaks. Whiteface opened back in 1958 and is dedicated to the 10th Mountain Division. It was the skiing venue of the 1980 Winter Olympic Games.
