Eligible U.S. veterans and retirees must have left active-duty service within the past 12 months. Active service members must be transitioning from active duty within the next 12 months. ID.me verification and an eligible personal ChatGPT account and workspace are required.  Accounts that belong to an Enterprise workspace cannot redeem the offer, even from a personal workspace. An active Plus subscription purchased through a mobile app store must end before redemption. Members can manage that subscription through their app store and return to chatgpt.com once it is no longer active. Eligible existing web Plus subscriptions can receive the offer directly. Limit one offer per eligible subscriber. The offer cannot be duplicated, sold, transferred, combined with other promotions, or redeemed for cash, credits, or points. OpenAI's Terms of Service apply, and OpenAI may apply additional conditions. The free year begins when the offer is claimed. After that year, the subscription automatically renews at the standard ChatGPT Plus monthly rate unless canceled before the first paid billing date.
